Do you suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis despite trying multiple medications?
If so, you may qualify for the RESET-RA study, which is evaluating a novel treatment option for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) by activating the vagus nerve in the body.
The RESET-RA study is designed to determine if an investigational vagus nerve stimulation device is safe and can improve RA in people who continue to experience symptoms even after they have tried multiple medications.
Neurostimulation as an alternative
Scientists have recently discovered that applying a small amount of electrical impulses (stimulation) to the vagus nerve activates a neurological pathway that may decrease the type of excess inflammation that is the underlying cause of RA.1
